part of the 14th
International Ceramics Triennale Stepping Up, Canberra ceramic
artist and owner of Mawson Gallery, Monika Leone presented the Capital
Teapot Show 11-19 July, 2015.
The
exhibition included works by ceramic artists from the Canberra region and
around Australia.
In
addition to teapots, there were teapot-themed wall works and larger teapot-themed
works in a landscaped outdoor garden display area.
In
keeping with the FUN theme of the show the only award was a People's
Choice....and the winner* is...........Canberra ceramic artist Linda
Davy for her "Black Tail Godwit" tea set" !
